Docker's answer to "it works on my machine" is to ship the fucking dev's machine straight into prod. It's the most reprehensible, garbage idea to come out of the already fucked "devops" culture. Then they put _thousands_ of knobs on it so that everyone can break it in their own special way, revealing their "infrastructure" for the pile of popsickle sticks and glue it was always made out of. They spend the weekend fixing it and the CEO thinks their engineering team is working really hard while the ashes of their burning VC money gently settle in a small pile at their feet.
