Skeleton jelly is essentially a chondrocyte (cartilage cell) which hypertrophies (drinks the well) and dies (gets eaten). He then cacifies (squirxical jelly) and then drips into ultraviolet city, which looks suspiciously like the trabeculae of ossified bone.
