st: simple terminal from suckless.org

YJL --verbose about almost everything .wrapper yjlv-posts-top-60 google_ad_section_start(name=default) st: simple terminal from suckless.org Tuesday, May 28, 2013 If you are a user of dwm, then you might also like suckless.org’s st (simple terminal), I’d like to dub it as “suckless terminal.” A thread about solarized st introduced me this two-year-old terminal emulator, first version 0.1 released in April, 2011. As of writing, the latest version v0.4.1 was released on 2013-04-20. On Gentoo, the latest version and older versions are still marked as unstable. Since I want to avoid ~arch as much as possible, therefore this post is just a quick note about st. However, I have no doubt in my mind, once st is moved to stable, I would start to transition into it as long as it runs properly with programs I use at that time. Malevolent Cartography - 2014 In Review

Malevolent Cartography You can't kill me. About Archive Contact 2014 In Review January 1, 2015 by Quinlan Pfiffer Passed Chinese 101, 102, 103 and 201 with flying colors. Helped start and maintain the PCC Chinese Club. Met a lot of cool people in chinese class. Good year for language learning. Spent almost a month in Taiwan, alone. One of my most valuablea experiences of 2014. Wrote more C this year than any other time. Ever. Wrote some Erlang. Nice language, don’t like the VM. Put a ton of work into OlegDB . Ended up creating GRESHUNKEL to build and power the website, which has now infected many of my other projects. Attempted to implement a language, Den. Turns out I hate parsing things. Took the Xbox-live syntax from the GRESHUNKEL static generator, ported it to C and released it as a stand-alone library. Had a handful of people break my IRC link ag...

You won't get scaling for much longer, and current trends are actually for lower power anyway. So what's the upside of pushing the whole parallelism snake-oil...
